After detection, the reading of the car multimeter needle is 13mA, generally speaking, the normal leakage current of the motorcycle electrical system should not be greater than 1mA, the 13mA has been a big.

Another way is to use MSC charging detector, as shown in the picture below. In this way, disconnect the cable harness connectors of the stabilized rectifier and ignition switch in turn, and the reading is still 13mA, indicating that there is no leakage fault of the stabilized rectifier and ignition switch.

Continue in turn off other parts of the electrical plug wire and cable testing, when disconnecting the engine tachometer splice pieces, wire and cable equipment readings by 13 ma drop to zero, indicates a engine tachometer leakage failure, in order to prevent the lapse in judgment, and connect engine tachometer splice validation, wire and cable equipment readings above freezing to 13 ma again, After repeated inspection, it is confirmed that the engine tachometer has leakage fault.
