Reason analysis: Hand contact brake grip when electric shock tingling, repeated trials, driving time is a little longer, the rear brake left grip is fever, hand contact left and right brake grip, there is electric shock tingling, indicating that left and right brake grip live, that is, electrical system leakage, but repeatedly check the electrical system, the wire connection is reliable, no insulation damage, and the electrical appliances work normally, therefore, Can exclude the factor of electric system leakage.



Where does the power on the brake grip come from?! ?


The electrical return route on the front bogie, the leakage return route of the rectifier regulator and the ignition switch grounding wire are connected to the front bogie. The electric current circuit on the front bogie is as follows: the front bogie → the frame → the rear rocker arm → the rear shock absorber → the body; Front bogie → left (right) brake grip → rear brake cable → body.


Under the condition of bumpy vibration of vehicle driving, due to the front steering bracket → frame → rear rocker arm → body, each connection has a certain resistance, so that the conduction is poor, when the hand contacts the left and right brake grip, part of the current through the human body to complete the circuit, so the electric shock sensation. If the front bogie → frame → rear rocker arm → body, each connection is good conduction, then this fault will not occur.


Elimination method: the electrical return route on the front bogie bracket, the discharge return route of the rectifier regulator, the ignition switch grounding wire, etc., with a special wire and battery negative wire connected to the body, reinstall the dismantled parts. In this way, in the process of vehicle driving, hand contact left and right brake grip, electric shock sensation phenomenon and fever phenomenon will disappear, troubleshooting.


(2) There is a stir after the engine starts

Phenomenon and analysis: At the same time, the horn sound is small, the headlight is not on, starting the engine check, there is a scratch sound between the metal friction, the sound is obviously from the magneto end, it is estimated that the stator disc fixing screw loose or coil fixing screw loose, Make the fixed parts displacement and rotor friction sound, remove the magneto cover and rotor, it is found that the lighting coil outer enameled wire has been damaged, at the same time, only one coil fixing screw in place, and has been loose, the other was broken after the head of the half disappeared, the remaining half was squeezed into the rotor of the two groups of magnets joint gap.


Solution: Replace the lighting coil and fixed screw, remove the iron scrap, reassemble, start the engine, noise elimination, charging circuit and lighting system to restore normal, troubleshooting.



(3) The oil spillage pipe drops oil outwards


Fault phenomenon: after the engine shuts down and stops, the carburetor overflow tubing drops oil outward. Check the oil screw under the float chamber and tighten it well. Loosen the oil screw to release the fuel in the float, and then tighten the oil screw.


Reason analysis: Road test inspection, the engine is not easy to start when the first start, after starting symptoms of too much mixture, but the vehicle is running well, after the engine is turned off (immediately) and then start the engine, it is easy to start, after starting, the phenomenon of too much mixture disappeared, stop and rest, when the carburetor overflow oil pipe drip, start the engine test, the engine is not easy to start, After starting, there are symptoms of too much mixture. After a few throttle booms, the phenomenon of too much mixture disappears. According to the phenomenon of the car, it is determined that the height of the carburetor float and the height of the main oil needle are not appropriate, and the triangle oil needle and needle seat of the float chamber are not tightly closed.


When the engine is turned off, the fuel in the float room accumulates, and the oil level is leaked from the overflow pipe when it reaches a certain height. At this time, when starting the engine, because the oil level in the float room is too high and the mixture is too thick, the engine is not easy to start. After starting, the mixture is too thick. With the engine working, the oil level in the float room drops, and the mixture is too thick, which disappears by itself. The triangle oil needle and needle seat is not strictly closed on the vehicle driving influence is not obvious.


Elimination method: to eliminate the accumulation similar to scale on the conical surface of the triangle oil needle in the float chamber, clean the carburetor, reinstall the removed parts, the phenomenon of oil dripping in the oil spill pipe disappears, the engine starts well, and the fault is removed.


(4) Engine refueling flameout


Fault phenomenon: after the engine starts, in idle running or slightly add throttle, preheat 1-2 seconds, appear to fuel out, or after refueling engine speed not only go up, but reduce the phenomenon. At the beginning of the drive, the speed is very slow, and when the vehicle travels for a long distance (500-1000 meters), the speed will gradually increase.


Cause analysis: After preheating, there is a flameout of refueling, or after refueling, the engine speed not only goes up, but decreases. At the beginning of the drive, the speed is very slow, and when the vehicle travels for a long distance (500-1000 meters), the speed will gradually increase. This means there is a problem with the carburetor, which causes the mixture to be too thin.


Elimination method: Use fine needle or fine steel wire dredge thickening oil circuit, idle measuring hole and main measuring hole. Raise the carburetor oil level appropriately. Adjust carburetor air-fuel ratio screws until appropriate. Finally, drop the carburetor valve needle lock piece to one or two grids. Finally, add dozens of drops of lubricating oil to the air filter net. After the adjustment, proceed to the road test. Everything is normal and the fault is removed.



(5) The idle speed is too high when the engine is hot


Fault phenomenon: a motorcycle cold car start normal, idling and low, medium and high speed are normal after starting, riding for more than ten minutes or longer and then back to the accelerator, the idle speed of the engine nearly 3000r/min, according to the user, the car has been adjusted several times carburetor not improved after replacing a new carburetor, but the fault has not been eliminated.


Fault analysis and elimination: the increase of idle speed of engine hot car is generally caused by too thin idle mixture adjustment or automatic side starter is not completely closed. So first adjust the carburetor, the fault is still, and then change the side starter to 12V DC power supply, the fault phenomenon disappeared. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the side starter, idle running is about 3V, after acceleration, the voltage is close to zero, it can be seen that the automatic side starter closed loosely is the cause of the fault, the side starter closed loosely is the cause of the power supply voltage is too low when accelerating, and the voltage is too low caused by damage to the voltage regulator. After replacing a new rectifier regulator, the voltage of the automatic side starter is measured again. Under various conditions, it is about 4V, and the fault is removed.
